President of Daegu Haany University Visits Kimyo International University in Tashkent
A delegation led by Byun Chang Hoon, President of Daegu Haany University in the Republic of Korea, visited Kimyo International University in Tashkent. The delegation was welcomed by Alisher Vahobov, Founder of the University.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current state of cooperation between the universities and opportunities for its further development. Particular attention was given to student exchange, joint educational programmes, and opportunities for students to gain international academic experience.
As part of the cooperation between Kimyo International University in Tashkent and Daegu Haany University, students have access to programmes that allow them to continue part of their studies in the Republic of Korea.
The 2+2 programme is available to students majoring in Korean Philology and Beauty and Aesthetics. Under the programme, students complete part of their studies in Tashkent and continue the remaining period at Daegu Haany University in Korea.
In addition, the Exchange Programme provides students from other fields of study with an opportunity to spend a certain period studying in Korea. This allows them to experience a different academic environment, become familiar with the Korean education system, and broaden their international experience in their respective fields.
The visit of the Daegu Haany University delegation provided an opportunity to discuss the further expansion of academic cooperation between the two universities and the development of additional educational opportunities for students.
