A centre that helps graduates of universities and institutes find a job, start their own business and grow professionally. It was established under a decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and works to secure youth employment and to make their adaptation to the labour market easier.

What is the Centre?
The “Step Into the Future” Centre is a support system for graduates: it keeps track of where they go after graduation, prepares those who want to work for their first job, and guides those who want to build something of their own all the way to a financed project.
The Centre was created under a decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It brings together higher education institutions, employers and “Uzmilliybank” (NBU) so that every graduate either finds a job or launches their own business after completing their studies.

Employment
Information about graduates is entered into the Centre’s database. The Centre connects them with employers and organises professional training (internship) programmes.
Starting a business
For students with an idea of their own the Centre runs trainings, issues a letter of recommendation and helps to prepare the documents for a loan. The student completes the project documents, submits them to the bank and receives the loan. The results of the financed projects are reviewed regularly.
Internship abroad
Students who win the competition may be sent to short-term professional internship courses abroad.
- Requirement: a B2 level certificate in English or another foreign language
- Expenses (tickets, accommodation and so on) are covered by the bank
How are the competitions held?

Announcement of the competition
An open competition is announced for every field of study — medicine, engineering, IT and others.

Selection of the winners
The winners are determined by the results of the competition.

Paid internship
The winners complete an internship of 1 to 6 months and receive a monthly payment of four times the base calculation amount.

Employment
A student who successfully completes the internship is hired.
Credit products in partnership with NBU
Five products of the “Kelajakka qadam” programme for graduates, young people and the companies that employ them.
The interest rate on all products is the Central Bank base rate + 1%.
First step into entrepreneurship
For self-employed graduates and young people taking their first step into business
- Loan amount up to 20 mln UZS
- Loan term up to 18 months
- Grace period up to 6 months

Business start
For graduates and young people who have the necessary business skills and want to start an independent business as an entrepreneur
- Loan amount up to 300 mln UZS
- Loan term up to 5 years (up to 36 months for working capital)
- Grace period up to 1 year (6 months for working capital)
- The borrower must be the director or a founder of the company.
- Collateral is required (up to 100 mln UZS — on the basis of an insurance policy).
- No negative credit history.
- No overdue debt.

Business progress
For students and young people who have already started an independent business and want to expand it
- Loan amount up to 2 bn UZS
- Loan term up to 7 years (up to 36 months for working capital)
- Grace period up to 2 years (6 months for working capital)
- The borrower must be the director or a founder of the company.
- Collateral is required.
- At least 2 jobs must be created.
- No negative credit history.
- No overdue debt.

Student invest
For businesses that employ students and young people under the age of 31
- Loan amount up to 10 bn UZS
- Loan term up to 7 years (up to 36 months for working capital)
- Grace period up to 2 years (6 months for working capital)
- At least 1 graduate must be hired for every billion UZS borrowed (if the conditions are not met, the interest rate is changed to the commercial one).
- Collateral is required.
- No negative credit history.
- No overdue debt.

My first profession
For graduates of higher education institutions
This is not a loan but a project that finances professional training for graduates.
- A competition is held among university graduates, and the winners receive a monthly scholarship of up to 5 base calculation amounts for the duration of their professional development.
- Up to 50 base calculation amounts are allocated for graduates to take part in short-term courses at foreign universities and companies.
- The cost of preparing a business plan is reimbursed.
- Based on the results of the “Talaba Expo 2026” career fairs, support is provided for employing graduates and young people.
