Physical Activity: A Key to Heart, Brain, and Immune Health
Regular physical activity reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, improves sleep quality, memory, and concentration. The World Health Organization recommends that adults engage in 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week.
On October 30, an open educational session was held at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine for MED-59R students of Kimyo International University in Tashkent.
Led by Dr. Diana Satarova, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Family Medicine, the session explored the health benefits of physical activity, its role in disease prevention, appropriate exercise routines, and medical supervision of physical activity.
The knowledge gained will help future doctors provide evidence-based guidance on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
