KIUT Delegation Visits the Prestigious University of Pavia in Italy
As part of the official visit to Italy on May 5, the delegation led by the founder of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, Alisher Vakhobov, visited one of Europe’s prestigious higher education institutions — University of Pavia.
The meeting was attended by the Rector of the University of Pavia Fabio Rugge, Vice Rector for International Relations Matteo Alvaro, and KIUT Department Director Akmal Rustamov.
The University of Pavia is closely associated with world-famous Italian scientists such as Alessandro Volta, Camillo Golgi, and Antonio Scarpa, who made significant contributions to global science.
During the visit, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in education and research, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The agreement includes:
— launching joint “2+2” and “1+1” programs;
— expanding academic exchange and joint research projects;
— strengthening Erasmus+ cooperation;
— creating online medical classes through “The Campus on Air” project with live 4K surgical broadcasts;
— and future plans to establish branches in law, pharmacy, and medicine.
This partnership with a globally recognized university opens new academic and scientific opportunities for students and faculty members.
