APPLICATIONS FOR KIUT EDUCATIONAL GRANTS ARE OPENING
Kimyo International University in Tashkent announces its university educational grant competition for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The competition aims to support students who demonstrate achievements in academic, scientific, creative, and professional activities, actively contribute to university life, as well as students in need of social support.
Grants are offered in two main categories:
1. Academic Achievement Grant
The competition is open to second-, third-, and fourth-year undergraduate students enrolled in full-time and evening study programmes.
Applicants will be evaluated based on their academic performance, achievements in olympiads and competitions, participation in research and innovation projects, as well as their active involvement in university life and contributions to the university’s development.
In addition to academic performance, consideration will be given to students who represent the university at national and international events, projects, and initiatives, contributing to its reputation and visibility.
2. Social Support Grant
This grant is intended to support students facing social or financial difficulties.
Eligible applicants may include:
- Orphans and students deprived of parental care;
- Students with Group I or Group II disabilities;
- Students from low-income families;
- Students who have lost a family breadwinner or are experiencing serious social hardship;
- Other categories of students in need of social support.
Applicants' social and financial circumstances, academic performance, and compliance with university regulations will be reviewed based on relevant supporting documents.
Grant Coverage
University educational grants are awarded to cover a portion of tuition fees.
The amount of each grant and the list of recipients will be determined based on the competition results, recommendations of the Grant Committee, and decisions made by the university in accordance with its established procedures.
Grants are awarded for one academic year. Students who received a grant in the previous academic year are also eligible to apply again.
Required Documents
- Academic performance record (GPA) for the most recently completed academic year (two semesters);
- Two recommendation letters from university faculty members;
- Documents confirming achievements in olympiads, competitions, research, and professional activities (if available);
- Documents confirming volunteer work, active participation in university life, and related achievements during the most recently completed academic year (if available);
- For Social Support Grant applicants, official documents confirming their social circumstances.
Note: Academic performance, volunteer work, and participation in university life will be considered only for the most recently completed academic year.
Application Period and Submission Procedure
October 12 – November 2, 2026.
Applicants must submit the required documents to the head of their respective academic programme.
Important: A motivation letter is not required for this year's educational grant competition.
The competition results will be announced through the university's official communication channels.
