KIUT and Chinese Partner Launch AI and New Media Courses in Tashkent

Kimyo International University in Tashkent hosted a delegation from Yellow River Conservancy Technical University (China). The visit resulted in three practical outcomes: a cooperation agreement was signed, the “Dahe Workshop” Education Base was inaugurated in Uzbekistan, and joint courses in Artificial Intelligence and New Media were launched.
The new courses will combine the academic expertise of both universities and provide students with knowledge and practical skills in rapidly developing digital fields. The “Dahe Workshop” will serve as a platform for academic training, professional development and the exchange of educational practices.
The partnership is already producing concrete results. In July 2025, 16 KIUT faculty members completed a 10-day professional development programme at Yellow River Conservancy Technical University. The training included lectures, practical sessions and a joint academic seminar. Faculty Training and Student Study Tour bases were also established as part of the programme. During the meeting in Tashkent, the parties also discussed student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects and new training programmes. The agreement will now allow both universities to move from individual initiatives to systematic cooperation in education, technology and research.
