Kimyo International University in Tashkent Becomes a Member of the AUTEX International Association
Mukhtabar Shomansurova, Acting Professor of the Fashion Design program at Kimyo International University in Tashkent, participated in the AUTEX 2026 Conference and the 25th Anniversary AUTEX Assembly, held on June 3–5, 2026, and organized by the École Supérieure des Industries du Textile et de l'Habillement (EISTH) in France.
Following the Assembly, Kimyo International University in Tashkent was unanimously admitted to membership in the AUTEX International Association.
AUTEX (Association of Universities for Textiles) is one of the leading international academic networks in the fields of textiles and apparel, bringing together 51 universities, research centers, and organizations from 36 countries.
AUTEX serves as a global platform for research collaboration. Its prestigious scientific journal is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and publishes research articles in Q2 and Q3 quartile categories.
Membership in AUTEX creates new opportunities for expanding international research cooperation, conducting joint projects, and further strengthening the university’s academic capacity in the fields of textiles and design.
