Kimyo International University and Harvard University’s Davis Center Agree to Advance Academic and Research Cooperation

On October 28, 2026, a delegation from Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), led by its Founder, Professor Alisher Vakhobov, visited Harvard University in the United States and held discussions with representatives of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies.
The delegation was welcomed by Cris Martin, Associate Director of the Davis Center, and Nargis Kassenova, Director of the Program on Central Asia and Senior Fellow.
The meeting focused on joint research initiatives, international conferences and seminars, academic exchanges, and opportunities to support researchers through the Visiting Scholars Program.
Discussions also highlighted the importance of developing the research potential of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, encouraging their engagement with the international academic community, and fostering their interest in scientific research.
The parties agreed to pursue joint research projects, prepare co-authored international publications, and explore potential grant opportunities under the Visiting Scholars Program.
Priority areas for cooperation include Central Asia's socioeconomic development, regional dynamics, education, and international relations.
To be continued in the next post.
