ERASMUS+ WEEK 2026 successfully concluded!
On May 8, 2026, Kimyo International University in Tashkent, in cooperation with the Erasmus+ National Office in Uzbekistan, successfully organized an international workshop within the Erasmus+ CBHE EMPOWER Project.
The workshop, titled “Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Skills among Women to Provide Gender Equality and Employability for Citizens of Uzbekistan,” focused on supporting women’s entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and gender equality.
The event brought together distinguished guests:
Aziza Karimovna Abdurakhmonova — Director of the Erasmus+ National Office in Uzbekistan
Akmal Baltayevich Allakuliyev — Rector of KIUT
Farkhad Niyazov — Director of KIUT SDG Excellence Centre
Janar Salimovna Abuova — Lead Coordinator of the EMPOWER Project
The workshop united nearly 70 offline and more than 100 online participants, creating a dynamic platform for international collaboration, networking, and knowledge exchange.
Interactive sessions, inspiring discussions, and open dialogue especially motivated young participants and female students. At the end of the event, the most active participants were awarded certificates.
ERASMUS+ WEEK 2026 became not only a workshop, but also an important step toward empowering women through education, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
