DEAR TEACHERS AND ESTEEMED PROFESSORS AND FACULTY MEMBERS!

It is my great pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of 1 October — Teachers and Mentors Day!
Throughout human history, there have been noble professions whose value does not diminish with the passage of time; on the contrary, their significance grows with each new generation. Teaching is one such honourable and profoundly responsible profession.
Behind every great discovery achieved by humankind, every advancement in science and human thought, and every significant step in the progress of society stand the knowledge, dedication, patience, and moral courage of a teacher. If history has been shaped by great individuals, then teachers have undoubtedly made an invaluable contribution to shaping their minds and worldviews.
A teacher is not merely someone who imparts knowledge, but a mentor who nurtures individuals, inspires them with purpose and confidence, shapes their thinking, and guides them towards the future. That is why the respect and esteem a teacher commands in society are measured not by position or title, but by the generations they have educated, the intellectual and moral legacy they leave behind, and the positive impact they have made on the lives of others.
Today, the world is changing at an unprecedented pace. Artificial intelligence, digital technologies, new scientific discoveries, and global competition are presenting education with entirely new challenges. Yet, no matter how advanced technology becomes, no technology can ever replace the teacher in the great mission of nurturing humanity, teaching people to think independently, to seek knowledge, to act responsibly, and to uphold the values of goodness and integrity.
In this sense, teachers are not only the educators of today, but also the architects of tomorrow. The future is being created today — in classrooms and laboratories, through scientific research, and through meaningful intellectual and educational dialogue between teachers and students.

Dear Colleagues,
The progress of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, its growing international reputation, and its achievements in education and research are, first and foremost, built upon your dedicated and selfless work.
Every lecture delivered, every practical session conducted, every scholarly article and research project completed, every piece of advice given to a student, and every expression of confidence in their future represents a meaningful contribution to the overall advancement of our University.
Our greatest strength in developing our University into a modern, research-driven, internationally competitive institution of higher education with a strong academic culture lies in our knowledgeable, proactive, dedicated professors and faculty members who remain deeply committed to their profession.
We are building the future of our University not merely through new buildings or advanced technologies, but, above all, through outstanding teachers and mentors, strong schools of research, and a vibrant academic environment.
For this reason, the work of each and every one of you, your scholarly and pedagogical contributions, and the knowledge and values you impart to the younger generation are of immeasurable importance to our University.

Dear Teachers and Mentors,
The students you educate today are the scientists, doctors, engineers, economists, educators, entrepreneurs, and leaders of society tomorrow. Therefore, you are not simply educating individuals — you are shaping the intellectual potential of society and the future of our country.
I extend my deepest gratitude to each of you for your dedication to this noble profession, your tireless service to education and enlightenment, and your invaluable contribution to the development of our University.
On this special occasion, I wish you good health, happiness and harmony in your families, continued academic and creative fulfilment, new ideas and discoveries, and the enduring joy and pride of witnessing the achievements of your students.
May the light of your knowledge never fade, may the noble calling of teaching always be held in the highest esteem, and may the students you have educated remain your greatest and most worthy legacy!
Happy Teachers and Mentors Day — 1 October!

With sincere respect,

Akmal Allakuliev
Rector
Kimyo International University in Tashkent
