The Department of Finance mainly teaches special and specialized subjects for the BSc in “Finance”, MSc in “Public Finance” and MSc in “Corporate Finance”. The subjects taught at the department are selected based on the requirements of the modern labor market, and subject programs (syllabus) are formed as a result of discussions with potential employers.
In addition, post-secondary education as an independent researcher and full-time doctoral student at the department to obtain the Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Science degrees, in the specialization of 08.00.07-“Finance, money circulation and credit” research students and scientists can conduct their researches.
The mission of the department is to contribute to the improvement of living standards by providing high-quality financial education.
In order to achieve this mission, successful personnel in the fields of corporate finance, state finance, and international finance are educated with the development of current theoretical and practical knowledge and skills.

Research interests: Shadow Economy, Capital Structure, Capital Budgeting, Risk Management Scientific branch: Finance, Money circulation and credit (08.00.07), Economics Biography Shokhjahon Elmurodov is the Head of the Finance Department at Kimyo International University in Tashkent, a position he has held since 2020. He earned his Bachelor’s (2009–2013) and Master’s (2013–2015) degrees from the Tashkent Financial Institute, where he also worked as a Methodologist and later as a Lecturer in Financial Management (2015–2018). From 2018 to 2020, he completed a Master’s program at Korea University (Republic of Korea). Research interests: Shadow Economy, Capital Structure, Capital Budgeting, Risk Management Scientific branch: Economics (08.00.07) – Finance, Money Circulation, and Credit He is the author of more than 50 published works, including textbooks, monographs, and scientific papers.
Research Interests: Business Law and International Law Academic Specialization: Environmental Law and International Law (12.00.06) Biography Since 2022, he has been working at Tashkent International University of Kimyo. He holds a Doctor of Law degree. In 2004, he graduated from Karakalpak State University with a degree in Jurisprudence. From 2006 to 2022, he held various positions at Karakalpak State University, including Vice-Rector, and also served as an Associate Professor at the Customs Institute, as well as in leadership roles within the justice sector. In 2010, he earned the academic degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences, and in 2020, he received the Doctor of Legal Sciences degree. He is the author of 2 monographs, 2 textbooks, several teaching manuals, and more than 100 scientific articles and conference papers.

He graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute, where he completed his bachelor’s degree from 2011 to 2015, and pursued his master’s studies at Yunnan University of Finance and Economics in the People Republic of China from 2018 to 2020. He graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute, where he completed his bachelor’s degree from 2013 to 2017, and pursued his master’s studies at Youngsan University in the Republic of Korea from 2018 to 2020. Since 2023, he has been working as a senior lecturer at the Tashkent International University of Chemistry, Department of "Finance". Since 2020, he has been an independent researcher (PhD) at the Tashkent State University of Economics. During his scientific career, he has authored 10 teaching and methodological manuals and several scientific articles and theses.
Research interests: microfinance, poverty reduction, inclusive growth Scientific branch: Finance, Money Circulation, and Credit (08.00.07) Biography Since the 2023 academic year, Khamidulla Normuradov has been working at the Kimyo International University in Tashkent, where he currently serves as an acting associate professor in the "Finance" department. He completed his master's degree at Tashkent State University of Economics in "International Monetary and Credit Relations" (2005) and master's degree at the University of Freiburg, Germany, in "Finance" (2007). In 2023, he defended his PhD dissertation titled "Improving the Microfinance System to Ensure Inclusive Growth in Uzbekistan." Normuradov has extensive experience working with international organizations (UNDP, EBRD, OECD), in academia and education (Karshi State University, Center for Economic Research and Reforms under the President of Uzbekistan), and in the private sector (Green Agro Invest LLC, Wachtel GmbH JV). He is the author of a monograph and more than 30 scientific articles and abstracts.
