Today, water scarcity, environmental pollution, and the irrational use of natural resources are becoming global challenges. How can these problems be addressed? How important is the role of young people in this process?
As part of an initiative by the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, a meeting dedicated to water conservation and environmental protection was held at Kimyo International University in Tashkent. The event focused on the urgency of environmental issues, practical solutions, and youth-led initiatives aimed at promoting responsible water use.
The Rector of the University, Akmal Baltayevich Allakuliev, подчеркнул, that protecting water resources is a priority task for the entire society today. He also proposed supporting environmental initiatives, establishing new partnerships, and expanding projects that contribute to sustainable development.
At the end of the meeting, guests took part in a campus tour and received university-branded souvenirs.
The meeting contributed to raising environmental awareness among young people, fostering a responsible attitude toward water resources, and encouraging practical action.
