Today, Cyber Day was held at Kimyo International University in Tashkent to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in the field of information security
The event featured J. Abdulkhaev, a member of the Youth Parliament under the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and an Anti-Fraud specialist at Kapital Bank; M. Rakhmonkulova, a cybersecurity specialist; Sh. Abdurasulov, founder of the CentiSec platform and an experienced mentor in ethical hacking; and A. Urinov, a specialist from Electronic Autonomous Solutions.
The speakers delivered lectures on the nature and types of hacking, cyber hygiene, personal data protection, the future of artificial intelligence, fintech technologies, and emerging digital fraud threats.
During the event, students gained practical insights into identifying cyberattacks and vulnerabilities, preventing cybercrime, ensuring online safety, and protecting personal data. Participants also engaged in an open discussion and received answers to their questions from industry experts.
The event contributed to improving students’ digital literacy and promoting responsible behavior in the digital environment.
