The Departments of Energy and Applied Sciences and Mechanical Engineering of Kimyo International University in Tashkent jointly organized an educational and practical visit to the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant with the aim of applying theoretical knowledge obtained in the courses “Digital Manufacturing and Technology Design” and “Production” in real industrial conditions.

This educational and practical activity played an important role in strengthening cooperation between education, science, industry, and practice, as well as enhancing the integration of theoretical and practical knowledge. The visit served as an effective platform for training future engineering specialists. Integration plays a significant role in social development and in improving the quality of professional training. Linking theoretical knowledge with production processes helps to reinforce learning outcomes, develop students’ practical skills, and facilitate joint projects, internships, and practical training between enterprises and educational institutions. In addition, establishing interdisciplinary connections contributes to the development of comprehensive knowledge and broad professional thinking.

The implementation of scientific research results into production creates opportunities for the advancement of modern technologies. In summary, integration ensures a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and creative thinking among specialists. Promoting integration contributes to improving the quality of education and production efficiency, as well as to training competitive professionals.
