The 7th General Assembly and International Conference of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) was held in Bogotá, Colombia. Professor Shoirakhon Nuridinova from Kimyo International University in Tashkent participated in this prestigious event and delivered a presentation on:
“The Impact of Reforms in Uzbekistan on the Role of Women in Science.”
In her presentation, Professor Nuridinova highlighted how the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan since 2017 have positively contributed to increasing women’s participation in politics, education, and scientific fields. She also provided information on gender-sensitive state policies, legislative initiatives, and national strategies aimed at enhancing women’s engagement and empowerment.
