Here are 5 interesting facts about South Korea.

Here are 5 interesting facts about South Korea.

1. Don't be late! In Korea, people book doctor appointment at hours like 11:37, 9:33. That is, every minute counts. Trains and buses also arrive on time without delay.
2. If you arrive exactly at the scheduled time, this is considered late. Because in Korea there is a rule to come to work 10 minutes earlier. The reason is that during this time the employee must have time to say hello and have breakfast with colleagues.
3. No number 4. It turns out that most elevators do not have a button with the number 4. The reason is that when translating 4 - "sa" has two meanings, one of which means "death", so they use "F" instead number 4.
4. Always with an umbrella. On rainy days, you are unlikely to see a Korean walking down the street without an umbrella. The reason is that many people lose their hair after rain due to bad ecology.
5. Free salads. Among the countries of East Asia, only in Korea it is customary to serve dishes with free salads.
