On the initiative of Department History of Kimyo International University in Tashkent, an unforgettable field trip was organized on April 19 of this year for full-time and evening students of the History program.
The trip took place in the ancient and unique city of Samarkand, offering students a valuable opportunity to reinforce their historical knowledge through real-life experience. More than 70 students participated in the trip, along with leaders of the Tourism, International Marketing, and History programs (evening division), as well as professors and lecturers of the “History” Department.
During this field lesson, which carried both scientific and practical significance, students had the chance to closely explore Samarkand’s priceless material and cultural heritage.
Renowned historians — the head of the department, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor Akbar Zamon, Doctor of Historical Sciences Azimkhoja Otakhojaev, Doctor of Historical Sciences Bobir Aminov, PhD Ulugbek Khalmuminov, PhD Akmal Yakubov, and senior lecturers Shodiya Saidaliyeva and Akmal Ismoilov — provided students with detailed explanations about historical monuments and their scholarly value.
