"Theory and practice of translation" department
The Department of Translation Theory and Practice was established in 2022 and is the main department specializing in Chinese-English translation. The scientific direction of the department is to study practical and theoretical issues of translation theory. The department has 5 full-time professors, including 1 doctor of science professor, 1 Doctor of philosophy associate professor, 3 senior teachers. The main goal of the department is to train mature specialists in oral, written, simultaneous and artistic translation. The department teaches subjects such as Introduction to Translation, Intercultural Communication for Translators, Translation Theory, Translation Practice, Literary Translation, Scientific and Technical Translation, Simultaneous Translation. Also, since Chinese-English translation direction is new, subjects such as Chinese writing skills, Chinese listening and speaking skills are taught in the department. International conferences on translation studies are held at the department. In the near future, the department plans to cooperate with the Malta State University on student exchange and professional development.

Author of 2 monographs, 2 textbooks, 1 brochure, 2 electronic dictionaries, 5 websites, more than 10 science programs and lecture texts. She won two international, one innovative, and two social grants. Chairman of the Association of Gastronomic Tourism of Uzbekistan, director of the Yummy tour travel company.
